Harmony and Dissent

Hamza Yusuf Hanson and the Zaytunna Institute in California:
Others within Islam have considered him a master of deceit, not representing their views of the Qur'an or any of the principles of Islam, sometimes substituting his own thoughts and principles as those of Islam.
There is some concern that, since he represents the Muslim community to certain U.S. leaders, that he represent the religion correctly and not misquote or use his own interpretations as a substitute for what is written.

Like who? Name a few notable names please. Since you have decided to dedicate a whole blog post to undermine Shaykh Hamza, why don't you included some references to prove your point? Perhaps you are one of those lazy types that sit around a computer all day and post what they hear without thinking about it much.

You live in California, which is where Shaykh Hamza resides, why don't you attend a few lectures or attend Zaytuna to see for yourself? Lazy again? I thought so. Think before you defame and dishonour scholars of Islam.
